Beaded Bracelet
Thursday, May 8, 6:30 PM
 Have you seen beautiful beads and wondered what to do with them? In this class Sarah will teach you how to make a basic beaded bracelet using flexible beading wire, crimp beads, a sterling silver toggle clasp and decorative beads. You will go home at the end of the class with a bracelet that you designed and made!
All materials for the bracelet are included in the class fee of $22. We will have additional materials and beads if you wish to make more than one bracelet for the purchase price of $10 each. Advance registration is required.

Felted Bag
Tuesdays, June 17 & 24, 1:00 PM
 In this class you will learn how to make a felted bag using circular needles and wool yarns. Whether you want a small purse or a tote bag, Sarah will help you pick the perfect pattern and yarn.
This class is two sessions long. The first session will cover reading a pattern, knitting in the round, making i-cord and pockets and getting started on your bag. Then you will knit between classes and come to the next session to assemble your bag and talk about felting and adding zippers and embellishments.
You must have basic skills of cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease and cast off to take this class. Please come to class at least 15 minutes early to allow time to pick out and purchase your supplies. The class fee is $30 for the two sessions and does not include supplies.

Stepping Stones
Saturday, May 3, 1:00 PM or
Tuesday, May 6, 6:30 PM or
Thursday, June 12, 6:30 PM
 In this class you will make a round stepping stone out of concrete and decorate it with glass, mirrors, pottery and other objects. You can put a saying, name or word on the stepping stone with press in letters. We will teach you all the tricks we have learned along the way. All supplies are included in the class fee of $38. Your stone can be picked up two days later.
 Wear old clothes, as we will be working with cement. These make great gifts or remembrances and it's a fun class to take with friends or family.

Needlefelting
Thursday, May 29, 6:30 PM
 This is a really fun, portable craft that can be used many different ways. You use dyed wool roving, a piece of foam and felting needles to mesh the wool together into a shape or apply a design to another wool fabric.
It can be embellished with embroidery and beads. In this class you will learn how to make a felted pin or other small object like a pincushion. The picture shows some pin examples. We have examples in the store. All supplies are included in the $38 class fee. Advance registration is required.
Beginning Knitting
Tuesday, May 20, 1:00 or 6:30 PM
 In this class we will teach you basic knitting skills so you can knit a simple project like a scarf. You will learn how to cast on, do the knit stitch and cast off. We will have needles and yarn available to borrow for practice during the class. If you wish to start a project we have needles and yarn available for purchase in the store, or feel free to bring needles and yarn that you might already have. The class fee is $15. Advance registration is required.

Private Knitting Classes

Do you have a pattern that you're afraid to tackle or having a hard time fitting felted bag class into your schedule? Are you an apprehensive first time knitter or wishing to expand your skills or finish a project? If so, private knitting classes are for you! For a fee of $20 per hour, Sarah will help you with your knitting challenges. Arrange your time with Sarah by calling the store or emailing.
